class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Una infecci\u00f3n que hoy puede tratarse con antibi\u00f3ticos podr\u00eda volverse m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de combatir. Esto ocurre debido a que las bacterias desarrollan resistencia a los medicamentos y dejan de responder, reduciendo las opciones de tratamiento y aumentando los riesgos para la salud. Ante este desaf\u00edo, Nicaragua fortalece la vigilancia, la investigaci\u00f3n y la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-189030\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/222.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/222.jpg.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/222.jpg-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/222.jpg-1024x546.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/222.jpg-768x410.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/p><p>La licenciada Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Herrera, responsable de Bacteriolog\u00eda del Centro Nacional de Diagn\u00f3stico y Referencia (CNDR) y estudiante de la Maestr\u00eda en Epidemiolog\u00eda del CIES, explica que las bacterias desarrollan mecanismos para sobrevivir a determinados medicamentos. Esto puede dificultar la recuperaci\u00f3n de los pacientes, prolongar las estancias hospitalarias y aumentar el riesgo de complicaciones, por lo que la detecci\u00f3n oportuna de la resistencia es fundamental.<\/p><p>Para identificar una bacteria resistente se requieren pruebas especializadas. Es por ello, que en los laboratorios se realizan an\u00e1lisis de sensibilidad y, mediante t\u00e9cnicas moleculares como la PCR y la secuenciaci\u00f3n gen\u00f3mica, pueden detectarse genes asociados al caso. \u00abEsto nos permite rastrear brotes y poder dar datos que puedan servir para la toma de decisiones\u00bb, se\u00f1ala Herrera.<\/p><p><strong> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-189031\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/333.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/333.jpg.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/333.jpg-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/333.jpg-1024x546.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/333.jpg-768x410.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/strong><\/p><p>En Nicaragua, el Plan de Acci\u00f3n Nacional para la Contenci\u00f3n de la Resistencia Antimicrobiana (PANCRAM) impulsa la vigilancia y el uso responsable de medicamentos. Como parte de su labor, el CNDR imparte anualmente el diplomado de Bacteriolog\u00eda M\u00e9dica para preparar al personal a cargo de estos laboratorios. La formaci\u00f3n responde a la importancia de impulsar la capacitaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica, en correspondencia con las recomendaciones de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS).<\/p><p>La UNAN-Managua tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 aportando en este \u00e1mbito mediante investigaciones cient\u00edficas lideradas por el CIES, entre ellas, se han estudiado perfiles de resistencia en bacterias aisladas de pacientes hospitalizados en Managua, as\u00ed como genes vinculados con la p\u00e9rdida de eficacia de ciertos antibi\u00f3ticos.<\/p><p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-189032\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/444.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/444.jpg.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/444.jpg-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/444.jpg-1024x546.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.unan.edu.ni\/wp-content\/uploads\/444.jpg-768x410.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/strong><\/p><p>El conocimiento universitario ampl\u00eda la mirada hacia el enfoque <strong>Una Salud desde el CIES<\/strong>. Investigadores han promovido el an\u00e1lisis de la resistencia antimicrobiana considerando la relaci\u00f3n entre la salud humana, animal, la sanidad vegetal y el medio ambiente. Esta perspectiva permite comprender que el desaf\u00edo va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los hospitales, por lo tanto, requiere investigaci\u00f3n colaborativa, prevenci\u00f3n y uso responsable de antimicrobianos en distintos entornos, incluyendo los comunitarios.<\/p><p>El equipamiento e insumos contribuyen al trabajo de la Red Nacional de Laboratorios de Bacteriolog\u00eda. Los resultados de estos an\u00e1lisis sirven de base para actualizar gu\u00edas y normativas, as\u00ed como para la toma de decisiones. La licenciada Herrera resalta que el uso adecuado de los antibi\u00f3ticos es una responsabilidad compartida para proteger la salud, en consonancia con el Modelo de Salud Familiar y Comunitario (MOSAFC), promovido por el Buen Gobierno Sandinista.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div
